Ovarian CancerOvarian Cancer StagesThere are 4 stages of ovarian cancer. Stage I: The cancer occurs in one or both ovaries. Stage II: The cancer spreads from the ovaries to nearby organs like the uterus or fallopian tubes. Stage III: This is the most common stage of ovarian cancer and occurs when the cancer spreads to the peritoneum (the abdominal lining) or to the lymph nodes for the abdominal cavity. Stage IV: The cancer spreads to organs outside the abdominal cavity.
