Signs and Symptoms

The most common symptoms testicular cancer include:

  • Asymptomatic, firm to hard tissue mass within the testis.

  • Enlargement of the testis.

  • Pain or discomfort in the testicles or scrotum.

  • A sudden built-up of fluid or blood in the scrotum.

  • Night sweats or fever.

  • Infertility

  • Pain in the lower abdomen or back.

  • Enlargement of the breast tissue (caused by an increased level of the hormone called human chronic gonadotropin - HCG)

  • Tender nipples

  • Unexplained weight loss

These symptoms can vary between patients and can be similar with other medical conditions. Always consult with your physician. A correct and early diagnosis can substantially increase the survival rate for testicular cancer patients.
