Wilms’ Tumor Signs and Symptoms

Unfortunately, Wilms Tumor might go undetected until the tumor reaches a large size and becomes noticeable or can be felt. The symptoms can vary between patients. Some of the common Wilms' tumor signs and symptoms are:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Abdominal swelling
  • Abdominal mass
  • Blood in urine (this symptom occur in less than ¼ of the children)
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Loss of appetite
  • Fever
  • High blood pressure
  • General discomfort.
  • Constipation
  • Erythrocytosis (a medical condition where there are too many red cells in the blood)
