Electrolysis Hair Removal Information
Electrolysis hair removal is a
process by which hair is permanently removed by
inserting a very fine gauge needle into the hair
follicle and destroying it with a small
electrical charge. The object of these hair thin,
needle shaped instruments (also called filaments,
probes or wires) is to destroy the papillae
[vacular connective tissue structures that enable
hair growth]. Once the papillae and the follicle
are destroyed, it won't grow hair anymore.
Electrolysis is the only hair
removal method that is permanent. However,
success depends on the skill of the operator.
